Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality (MoM) announced that several random warehouses and violating building partitions were seized by the Doha Municipality.
Doha Municipality had detected five random warehouses in Najma and illegal partitions in a residential area in Fereej Bin Dirham.
The Ministry also discovered residential parking lots that were converted to unlicensed supermarkets in Najma, as well as unauthorized storage in Nuaija that was used to store furniture and building equipment.
Necessary legal measures were taken and the violating parties were then referred to the competent security authorities.
Doha Municipality called upon real estate owners and tenants to comply with planning requirements and building permits, and asked them not to make any modifications to the property without obtaining the necessary permits from the municipality.
