Children under 12 not allowed inside mosques

Doha: As part of the new Covid-19 precautionary measures adopted by the Qatar Cabinet, mosques will remain open to perform daily duties and Friday prayers, while children under 12 years old will not be allowed entry.

This decision will come into force with effect from Saturday, January 9, 2022.

The mosques will remain open adhering to the precautionary measures determined by the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs
Allowing the opening of toilets and ablution facilities in mosques will be determined by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
