Doha: Slight dust to blowing dust has been observed over some areas this evening, causing low horizontal visibility below 2km.
Weather inshore tonight until 6am tomorrow is expected to remain quite dusty, with occasional blowing dust at places at times, and relatively cold to cold with some clouds, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in its daily weather report, warning of strong wind and poor visibility at places at times.
Offshore, it will be slightly dusty to dusty at places and partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of light rain at times, warning of strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 to 20 knot gusting to 28 knot at times.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly at a speed of 12 to 22 knot gusting to 30 knot at times, shifting to northwesterly later.
The visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers or 2 kilometers or less at places at times.
The sea state inshore will be 3 to 5 feet. Offshore, it will be 4 to 7 feet surging to 10 feet at times.
Expect a continuation of strong wind and high sea tomorrow, February 8, as wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly at a speed of 7 to 17 knots, gusting 24 knots at places at times.
Offshore, wind direction will be northwesterly as well with speeds ranging from 8 to 18 knots, gusting 25 knots at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet. Offshore, 3 to 5 feet rising to 8 feet at times.
The temperatures in Doha tomorrow are expected to range between 17°C and 21°C.
