Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education said that it will receive requests for transfers for teaching and administrative staff in schools for the 2021/2022 academic year from March 1 to 31.
The Ministry said that this transfer process comes from the standpoint of achieving psychological and social stability for the teaching and administrative staff in all government schools and creating the appropriate atmosphere to work diligently and efficiently, with a positive impact on the educational process.
It explained that the application will be submitted online via its website, through two links, one for the teaching staff and another for the administrative, noting that paper applications will not be considered. It added that the applicant can cancel the transfer request before it is approved by the school principal and submitted to the concerned departments.
The Ministry has set a set of conditions and controls for the transfer of teaching and administrative staff for the current academic year. It said that these requests will be reviewed in June.
It explained that the transfer of teaching staff must be to the same job title and educational stage.
The Education Ministry stressed that it will not accept any request otherwise and that the transfer will be made according to the vacancies in the available schools and the organisational structure in accordance with the approved controls.
