The National Committee for System of Customs Clearance announced the adoption of an interactive reporting mechanism based on presenting data in an interactive statistical form, to identify the obstacles facing customs clearance operations, in order to facilitate the follow-up of its work related to all government procedures applicable to goods and import-export operations.
Assistant to the President of the General Authority for Customs Affairs, Mohammed Ahmed Al Mohannadi, announced this mechanism during the periodic meeting of the committee members, saying that these reports has been built according to its strategy.
Al Mohannadi stated that the authority is always striving to find better solutions to develop work in all customs fields, explaining that the committee follow up the performance rates for the employees of government agencies that have restricted goods, to ensure that work at customs ports exits with the required quality and in accordance with the highest international standards.
He also pointed out that advanced modern technology and techniques are the appropriate and complete alternative to developing customs work based on databases of sound customs nature, in addition to relying on the scientific method in analysis as a support path for decision-making and correcting deviations.
In this regard, the General Authority of Customs stated that it is expected that the work of the members of the National Committee for System of Customs Clearance during the coming period will depend on analyzing the results of the outputs of interactive reports towards solving problems, improving performance rates and maintaining the security of Qatari society.
