Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said the latest satellite image shows the formation of a dust mass of medium density in north of the Arabian Peninsula.
In a tweet, the QMD said that the country is expected to be affected by the dust mass late at night.
"Slight dust at times, dusty by late night with fresh to strong Northwesterly winds. We are constantly reminded of the maritime warning," the Met Department said in another tweet.
Earlier today, QMD stated that the country is experiencing hot weather, with temperatures ranging from 31°C to 40°C in Doha. High sea waves, strong winds, and poor horizontal visibility were recorded in certain areas.
QMD urges the public to take caution during this weather condition.
