Doha, Qatar: The headquarters of Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal on Sunday embraced the event of 'Al Razji', which is set to continue until March 14.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the event intends to preserve the deeply rooted Qatari mores, promote the national identity, and cope with the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan.

Al Razji includes a combination of areas, namely Al Rumaila and Al Bidda, "Eid Joy" gift distribution zone "Garangao," as well as a section for a plethora of exhibitions and workshops statewide.

Abdullah Al Ghanem, the person in charge of the heritage corridor event, explained that the event showcases various aspects of Qatar's traditional heritage and lifestyle during Ramadan.

He highlighted that the corridor features sections spotlighting traditional crafts such as goldsmithing and women's attire, as well as a sound section where visitors can stand at a specific point to listen to traditional songs and chants, including those for occasions like Garangao.

Overall, Al Razji is an opportunity for the public to enjoy the Qatari traditions in a tantalizing atmosphere during the holy month of Ramadan, which fuses heritage exhibits with popular cuisines and performance arts manifesting the authenticity of the domestic culture.

Visitors are welcomed starting from 7:30pm until midnight.
