Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Culture celebrated Garangao Night on Friday evening on the sidelines of "Al-Razji" event at the Darb Al Saai venue in Umm Salal.

On this occasion, Director of Public Relations and Communication at the Ministry of Culture Ahmed Ali Al Yafei emphasized that the celebration of Garangao Night at Darb Al Saai, as part of "Al-Razji" event, underscores the Ministry's commitment to preserving authentic Qatari heritage, which helps strengthen social ties. The large turnout for the Garangao Night celebration at Darb Al Saai created a heritage-rich atmosphere that reflected the authenticity of Qatari traditions. Children in colorful traditional attire participated in the festivities, joyfully collecting treats to the tunes of Garangao songs, and engaging in activities that combined entertainment and education.

"Al-Razji" competition, held daily at the Flag Plaza and hosted by media personality Iman Al Kaabi, gained significant momentum on Garangao Night. The competition's themes included traditional attire and the customs of celebrating this night, as well as documenting the societal traditions observed during the festivities.

The Qatar Photography Centre, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, organized a photography studio equipped with all necessary tools to document visitors' celebrations of Garangao Night, within the center's pavilion at "Al-Razji" event at Darb Al Saai.
