Doha: The State of Qatar has welcomed the peace agreement reached between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, expressing its hope that the two nations will move forward into a new phase of cooperation, development, and prosperity.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that the agreement also strengthens security and stability in the Caucasus region, reaffirming the efficacy of peaceful means in resolving complex disputes and conflicts worldwide.
The Ministry renewed Qatar's full support for all regional and international efforts aimed at promoting platforms for dialogue to achieve a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous world.
