Another day of rain, strong wind warns Department of Meteorology

Doha, Qatar: Weather inshore until 6pm on Monday will be cloudy with scattered rain, accompanied by thunder at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thundery rain associated with strong wind.

Offshore, the weather will be cloudy with scattered rain and thunder at times, the report added, warning of expecting thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 08 - 18 knots, gusting to 30 knots with thundery rain.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly 08 - 18 knots, gusting to 30 knots with thundery rain.

Sea state inshore will be 1 - 4ft, rising to 5ft with rain. Offshore will be 2 - 5ft, rising to 10ft with rain.

Visibility inshore will be 4 - 9 KM / 3 KM or less at places at times, while offshore will be 4 - 9 KM / 3 KM or less with thundery rain.

The temperatures will range at minimum of 18ºC to maximum of 25ºC.
