Doha, Qatar: The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), a global education initiative of Qatar Foundation, has announced that applications are now open for the 2025/2026 WISE Edtech Accelerator Programme.
This year’s programme includes two distinct tracks designed to support early-stage startups in the education technology sector: a Local Track for startups targeting Qatar’s rapidly growing education market and an International Track for global startups seeking to scale their impact worldwide.
The WISE Edtech Accelerator is a key part of WISE’s edtech programme that aims to support innovation and build an edtech community focused on revolutionising the way teaching and learning are done.
The Local Track is specifically designed for pre-Series A startups that are looking to expand into Qatar’s dynamic education ecosystem. The track offers unparalleled opportunities for early-stage companies to access the resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities they need to thrive in the Qatari market.
Startups selected for the Local Track will receive a comprehensive support structure designed to help them succeed in Qatar’s education ecosystem. This includes expert mentorship, offering tailored guidance from industry professionals to align their products with the specific needs of the Qatari market. Additionally, startups will have exclusive networking opportunities, providing direct access to key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the education sector. They will also benefit from fast-tracked funding opportunities, granting them accelerated pathways to secure local funding and grants that can fuel their growth.
The International Track, open to startups from around the world, offers participants valuable resources to help them scale globally. This includes global mentorship, offering expert guidance on product development, market expansion, and scaling strategies. Participants will also gain access to high-level networking opportunities through exclusive events, where they can showcase their solutions to a global audience of investors and education leaders. Additionally, the track provides global exposure, allowing startups to connect with a worldwide network of potential partners and collaborators.
