Hurricanes claimed a big win over Mavericks.
Doha: Hurricanes defeated Mavericks by 10 wickets in a match of the ongoing QCA T10 Ramadan Cup at the West End Park International Stadium.
Batting first, Mavericks scored 136 for 6 with Shariq (36) and Ayan (13) making good contributions. Hurricanes, however, chased the target easily with Umash Sachila De Zoysa scoring 85* off 28 balls. He was named Player of the Match.
Meanwhile in the Qatar Women’s Premier League 2025, Doha Rangers secured an 8-wicket victory over Al Sadd Strikers at the University of Doha for Science and Technology ground.
Al Sadd Strikers posted 147 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs with Christeena (24) and Sabeeja (22) contributing.
In reply, Doha Rangers attained the target in 16.3 overs powered by Chere Dreyden’s 72 off 47 balls, earning her Player of the Match award.
