Doha, Qatar: Lulu Hypermarket Qatar and Qatar Charity (QC) have reaffirmed their commitment to humanitarian efforts by renewing their strategic partnership for 2025, with a strong emphasis on their Ramadan philanthropic campaign.
This collaboration enhances Lulu Hypermarket Qatar’s role as a key member of Qatar Charity’s Charity Partner (CP) programme while actively supporting the Ramadan initiative “Giving Lives On” through its ‘Shop & Donate’ campaign, launched by Lulu Hypermarket Qatar.
Ramadan, a time of giving and solidarity, remains central to this partnership, as both organisations unite to support those in need through impactful charitable initiatives. Through this agreement, Lulu Hypermarket Qatar will utilise its extensive marketing platforms to enhance awareness of the Charity Partner programme, encouraging increased engagement from businesses and institutions in this initiative.
As part of the Ramadan campaign, Lulu Hypermarket Qatar will contribute a designated amount to Qatar Charity, including donations generated through the ‘Shop & Donate’ initiative. During the holy month, ‘Shop & Donate’ features a selection of over 1,200 supermarket and department store products, with a portion of the sales proceeds dedicated to Qatar Charity’s “Giving Lives On” drive, ensuring essential support reaches the most vulnerable.
The official signing ceremony took place at Qatar Charity’s headquarters in Lusail, where the agreement was signed by Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, Chief Marketing Officer at Qatar Charity, and Shanavas Padiyath, Regional Manager of Lulu Hypermarket Qatar.
Speaking on the occasion, Fakhroo expressed his appreciation for Lulu Hypermarket Qatar’s continued support, emphasising the significance of corporate contributions to humanitarian causes, particularly during Ramadan.
Shanavas Padiyath reaffirmed Lulu Hypermarket Qatar’s commitment to social responsibility, stating, “Ramadan is a time of generosity and unity, and we are honoured to partner with Qatar Charity in this meaningful cause. Through ‘Shop & Donate,’ we aim to extend our support to those in need and inspire our customers to contribute to this noble effort.”
