Doha: On the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr, Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has launched the 'Eidiah ATM' service.
The Eidiah ATM service will allow its users to withdraw Qatari riyals in QR5, QR10, and QR50-100 denominations.
In a statement, QCB mentioned that the service is in line with its means to revive the Qatari culture and traditions. The attempt is to bring back the traditional practice of Eidi, which is usually money or gift, given to children.
The service will be available during Eid Al Fitr and ATMs have been placed at various locations on specific dates as stated in the following: April 13 (Thursday) at Mall of Qatar; April 15 (Saturday) at Place Vendome Mall; April 17 (Monday) at Al Wakrah Old Souq; April 18 (Tuesday) at Al Mirqab Mall.
