Doha: Strong wind and poor visibility is expected during the weekend as Qatar Meteorology Department also warned of thundery rain and high seas.
According to the Department's forecast, cloudy weather with scattered rain, thundery at times, and blowing dust are likely from today, April 13, until Saturday, April 15.
Various places in the country had already received light rain this week, including Doha, especially the northern areas this morning.
During the weekend, temperatures will range from 20 degrees Celsius and maximum of 31 degrees Celsius.
On Friday, the wind will mainly be in the northerly direction at 20-30KT gusting to 40KT at times.
Sea heights will also vary from 2-5ft inshore reaching to 12ft offshore.
In a recent weather update, the Civil Aviation Authority called on everyone to take precaution during this weather condition and follow safety guidelines during thunderstorms.
