Polish sensation Iga Swiatek is chasing fourth straight Qatar TotalEnergies Open title at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex this weekend. Swiatek enjoys an electrifying record in Doha, having not dropped a set in the tournament since 2022. She is on a collision course against Rybakina in the quarters in a rematch of last year’s final. Match for Hope 2025 Stadium 974
February 14, 2025, 8pm  

A battle between creators and legends will be staged in the heart of Doha at Stadium 974 this weekend as the second edition of charity football match is played out.

Featuring Team KSI and AboFlah, managed by Arsene Wenger, will face off Team Chunkz and IShowSpeed, led by Argentine Mauricio Pochettino. Alongside these football legends, some of the world’s top content creators will also take part, including KSI, IShowSpeed, Chunkz, AboFlah, Sharky, Miniminter, and others. 

The funds raised from the match would support education projects in several countries, including Lebanon, Palestine, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Syria. For details, click here.

Local and international exhibitors are showcasing a wide variety of dates aand date products at the Souq Waqif exhibition. 

Strawberry, Fig, Jujube Exhibition 
Umm Salal Central Market 
Until February 19, 2025, (9am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm)

An exhibition for locally produced strawberries, fig and jujubes opens today at Umm Salal Winter festival. This exhibiton is an initiative to provide direct support to local farmers.  

Baraha Musical Concert Barahat Msheireb 
February 14, 15 and 18 

Msheireb Downtown Doha will come alive with a unique blend of Gulf folk music and animated soundtracks as Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra brings its open-air musical concert this weekend. The first two concerts, on February 14 and 15, will spotlight Gulf folk music, preserving traditional melodies while incorporating Western orchestral elements. The performance will pay tribute to Qatar’s maritime heritage, with a focus on the ‘Fijiri’ music style, a traditional genre linked to pearl divers and the sea. On February 18, the Baraha Musical Concert will present a unique experience with “Animated Volume 1: Msheireb Edition,” a performance that has captivated audiences since its debut in 2019. This exhibition provides a preview of the upcoming Qatar Tennis Museum and also highlights significant milestones in Qatar Tennis Federation's history.

Healthy Kids Village Food Arena at Lusail Corniche

Primary Health Care Corporation is organising this event which will host health awareness along with recreational games and free medical screenings for kids. The venue will host doctors, including family physicians and psychologists to simplify health and psychological consultations for kids. For details, click here 

Experience Ras Abrouq

This weekend is your last chance to experience the unique desert destination at Ras Abrouq with exquisite dining and cultural experiences. Illusion Show Qatar National Convention Center 
February 14-15, 2025, Friday - 3pm, 5pm and 7pm; Saturday - 4pm, 6pm and 8pm 

Jaw dropping tricks and mind-bending illusions will be performed by a talented finalist from Turkish Got Talent at this one-hour non-stop illusion show. Tickets are priced at QR100, QR150 and QR200 and can be purchased on Q-tickets.
