Doha, Qatar: Weather inshore on Saturday will be hazy to misty at first, partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain that maybe accompanied by thunder at places, relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thunderstorm associated with strong wind.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain maybe accompanied by thunder at times, the report added, warning of expected rain, strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 - 20 knots, gusting to 28 knots with thunder storm.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 12 - 22 knots, gusting to 30 knots at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 - 4ft, rising to 5ft at times. Offshore, it will be 4 - 7ft, rising to 10ft at times.
Visibility inshore will be 5 - 9 km / 3 km or less at places with thundery rain / hazy and misty at first. Offshore, it will be 5 - 9 km / 3 km or less with thunder rain.
