The Ministry of Municipality represented by Al Daayen Municipality and Al Shammal Municipality is conducting campaigns for disinfecting roads and public places to ensure health and safety of people and protect them from COVID-19 pandemic.
Cleanliness Section at the Services Affairs Department of Al Daayen Municipality is disin-fecting roads, eateries, com-mercial outlets, mosques, schools and entertainment places at Semaisima, Umm Qarn, Rawdat Al Hamal on daily basis.
The Services Affairs Department at Al Shamal Municipality is disinfecting building and government facil-ities such as Civil Defence, Al Shamal Services Centre, Al Shamal Police Station.
Under the drive, corridors, doors, administrative offices, kitchens, bathrooms, external manholes, sidewalks, sur-rounding streets, parking lots and garbage containers were disinfected.
Meanwhile, Al Wakra Municipality, represented by the Cleanliness Section of the Services Affairs Department during the past month carried out a number of service works, including the implementation of 1,695 requests to control insects and rodents.
