The School of Public Administration and Development Economics at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is organizing a special international workshop entitled: “Governance in Crises and Post-Conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa” on 7 and 8 November 2021, with 24 speakers in six sessions discussing several topics.

As part of the workshop programme, former Finnish Foreign Minister Pär Stenbäck will give a lecture on "The Post-Pandemic World Order: Some Observations on the Middle East". This is followed by shedding light on crises and governance issues, the role of regional and international actors in recovering from conflicts, and other important topics.

In this context, the workshop coordinator, Dr. Moosa Elayah, Assistant Professor at the School of Public Administration and Development Economics, said that this workshop will be attended by scientists and researchers from 15 countries, adding that the participants were chosen with great care by a specialized scientific committee.

Elayah indicated that this workshop comes as one of the outputs of the conference "The Governance of Public Policies During and After Conflicts in the Middle East', which was organized by the School of Public Administration and Development Economics on April 4, 2021.
