Cultural Village Foundation, Katara is putting last touches to preparations for the second edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF), slated from Wednesday, February 2 to 12 at Katara Esplanade.

The stage, horse paddocks and horse stable are now ready for the 11-day festival bringing the public a greater deal of activities than the first edition.

Marking its first year in the festival, Arabian Peninsula Horse Show will commence wherein 239 horses will be participating. Other activities include Arabian Horse Auction where 32 horses will be auctioned; and the prestigious Title Show competitions where 309 horses from 11 countries have been registered.

This year, breeders can also buy egg from the international mare during KIAHF.

Festival sponsors include Ali Bin Ali Luxury as Titanium Sponsor; Ahli Bank as Exclusive Banking Sponsor; Vodafone, Telecom Sponsor; NBK and Al Waab City as Diamond Sponsor; Qatar Insurance Company as Platinum Sponsor; Qatar Airways, as Official Airline Sponsor. And AlKass Channel as Media Sponsor, and Qommunications and White Event Company as Social Media Sponsor.

Recently, Hairaat Jewellery joined as a Diamond Sponsor wherein a signing agreement has been made between Katara and CEO Nada Khamis Al Sulaiti. The CEO said the agreement is a two-year contract from 2022 to 2023 and the partnership is based on the vision of Hairaat to protect the Qatari heritage. She added that they are looking forward that the festival will be an amazing one. The Arabian Peninsula Horse Show is set from February 2 to 5, the Arabian Horse Auction on February 7, and the Title Show from February 9 to 12.
