Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) announced that tonight marks the first night of the star of Ziraa, the fifth summer star and the brightest.

The star lasts for 13 days, during which the sun shines very bright, humidity rises, and the intense heat persists. Local clouds also form during this time, which could bear rain.

Northeasterly winds are predominant during this period.
