Doha, Qatar: Doha Port is about to welcome thousands of tourists as the new cruise season begins.
A total of 81 cruises are expected to dock at the Old Doha Port during the 2023-24 cruise season, with eight ships set to make their maiden call to Qatar.
On social media, Mwani Qatar shared the details of each cruise's date and time of arrival. The country's cruise beacon will welcome the first ship, Crystal Symphony, on Saturday, October 28, at 7am.
Last year's cruise season saw the country receive 253,191 cruise visitors from December 2022 to March 2023, a significant increase of 151% compared to the previous season. Qatar received a total of 54 calls during the 2022/23 cruise season, both transit and turnaround, which marks a 59% uptake from last year.
