Another exciting weekend is here and there is lots happening in town. Adventurous events, fashion shows, exhibitions and many more. We have listed down a few for you.

International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show (IWED) 2017

Known as one of the region's most prominent wedding exhibition, IWED, in its 10th edition, is expected to be a grander event. Thousands of soon-to-be-weds, fashion enthusiasts, business individuals, designers are expected to visit IWED. The venue is generally regarded as one of the most attended events among the numerous wedding exhibitions in the Middle East where best arrangements, offers, ideas and inspirations may be found.

DFI Cinema presents MIA Exhibition Series: The Poot

 

As part of the Museum of Islamic Art’s Imperial Threads: Motifs and Artisans from Turkey, Iran and India exhibition, Doha Film Institute will be screening THE POOT, a documentary on carpet weaving and its significance in Persian culture. Screening is free of charge, but a ticket is required for admission

Meerat Ramadan at Katara

 

Food and gift items in preparations for Ramadan are being sold at lesser prices at Meerat Ramadan. The market has around 35 local shops offering a wide array of food items that are in large demand during the Holy Month.

Sunset to night paddling in the mangroves

 

A relaxing weekend time out at Al Thakhira beach where we take you on a paddling adventure along the mangroves in Qatar during sunset to full darkness

Details: 200 QR for adult; 120 QR for kids under 12 years; 80 QR for kids under 6 years. Payment is at the venue.

Recycled Art Workshop

 

Katara presents Recycled Art Workshop by Ooh Sinchai. Workshop will be in English. Children below the age of 7 are not allowed.

Karting at Losail Circuit Sports Club

 

The registration will be done directly at the venue, at the VIP Car Park of the Losail International Circuit.The minimum age is 15 years old and any participant under the age of 18 needs permission signed by a legal guardian for the karting activity.To take part in the Karting it is compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if not available, the circuit can provide you one. The Karting track at Losail International Circuit is open for public.
