Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a five-hour partial closure overnight for seven days on D Ring Road.
According to Ashghal, the closure will be effective from today till Saturday, April 23, 2022, as traffic coming from Old Airport towards the North along, with parts of Rawdat Al Khail Street for gantry installations would be blocked.
During the closure, designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, motorists can use the alternative local roads, Freej Al Ali and Nuaija Intersections to reach their destinations, Ashghal noted.
Meanwhile, Ashghal also announced a temporary closure on part of Wadi Al Askar Street in both directions between Wadi Al Wajba Street and Wadi Zaafaran Street, starting today and will last four days, to complete works of the final asphalt layer.
During this time, users of Wadi Al Askar Street will be required to turn towards Wadi Al Wajba Street or Wadi Zaafaran Street then use Ain Sinan Street to reach their destinations.
