Brussels: Minister of State for International Cooperation, HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met Tuesday with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Levant and Syria, HE Natasha Franceschi, on the margins of the 9th Donor Conference on Syria organized by the European Union in Brussels.
Both sides discussed the cooperative relationships between the two countries and avenues for enhancing them, particularly in the area of humanitarian aid in Syria, as well as a range of topics of shared interest.
HE Franceschi highlighted the importance of Qatar's efforts in supporting humanitarian diplomacy and providing aid to women and children in conflict zones.
