Cinemas in Doha this week will screen various international films varying between action, suspense, and horror.
Among the films shown this week is the thriller “Gold,” which revolves around two men who discover a site that contains the largest amount of gold ever found, and they decide to search for a way to explore and extract it. The film is directed by Anthony Hayes, starring Zac Efron, Anthony Hayes and Susie Porter.
The cinemas will also screen the action and suspense movie “Blacklight.” The events revolve around a government agent called Travis Block who discovers a conspiracy aimed at killing American citizens. During his attempt to deal with his mysterious past, he finds himself facing the FBI director he once helped protect. The film is directed by Mark Williams, starring Liam Neeson, Aidan Quinn and Taylor John Smith.
The horror movie “A Banquet” will also be shown which revolves around a widowed mother called Holley, who is radically tested when her daughter tells her about her strange and frightening symptoms. The film is directed by Ruth Paxton, starring Sienna Guillory, Jessica Alexander and Ruby Stokes.
