Doha: Cloudy skies with continuous monitoring of scattered rain that may be interspersed with thunder cells, accompanied by strong downdraft winds and blowing dust, leading to low and sometimes zero horizontal visibility warned Qatar Meteorology on its social media. 

Southeasterly winds with gusts up to 30kt is observed in some areas, adding that motorists should be careful as the weather is unstable. 

In its daily report, it said weather inshore until 6 pm on Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, maybe thundery at times and slightly dusty to blowing dusty at places, warning of thundery rain and strong wind expected at places.

Offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain may be thundery at times, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 12 to 22 knot gusting to 26 knots at places at times.

Offshore, it will be mainly southeasterly 12 to 22 knots, gusting to 28 knots at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometer or less at places at first.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore it will be 3 to 7 feet rises to 9 feet at times.
