Doha: Qatar will host a series of action-packed events and amazing experiences this summer.
Qatar Tourism (QT) will unveil an exciting roster of family-focused programmes at the end of May. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from captivating performances to exciting activities.
Qatar Tourism (QT) COO, Berthold Trenkel told The Peninsula that the events will be geared at families. “There’s some really good things coming, we will all line up for the tickets.” He said that QT will announce the summer schedule by the end of May, and that the public should stay tuned.
“We have a lot of interesting entertaining programmes catered both to domestic [and international], anyone of us who’s staying in Doha and who [are] looking for staycations, there will be many opportunities and we will announce exciting offers what the hotels have.” The COO explained there will also be several deals and sales.
“And of course the neighbouring countries definitely will come, there’s so much to do in Qatar and they have to check it out. We’re all excited, post World Cup, so many new things to do,” Trenkel added.
There are numerous events and activities happening this month.
QRS Track Challenge 2023 started yesterday and will have another two races – on May 19 and 26 at Qatar Sports Club; Build Your House, a new format exhibition dedicated to construction will be held from May 15 to 18 at QNCC; Qatar CSR Summit on May 16-18 at Qatar University; and Qatar Cup Handball Final on May 16 at Duhail Handball Sports Hall.
The line-up also includes 'Discover Whale Sharks of Qatar' will run from May 18 to 31 at Al Ruwais Port; MENA Insurtech Summit, May 20-22 at Park Hyatt Hotel; and Google Cloud Region launch on May 22 at QNCC.
