The 3-2-1 Obstacle Challenge 2023 will start today and continue every day through April 23 with the exception of Eid Al Fitr.
Organised by the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, the event will take place at Khalifa International Stadium Gates 16 and 17, The Peninsula has confirmed.
It further stated that the challenge is a fun outdoor activity and a great way for families to get a full-body workout. “This event features a parents and kids course as well as a separate toddler course, ensuring that all ages can participate in the obstacle challenge.” Activities are divided into children and adults obstacle course and the toddlers obstacle course, aged three to six years.
Under the children obstacle course, activities include rope swing, jump pole, ring swing, tire run, monkey bars, angled ladder, climbing rope.
And under toddlers obstacle course: over-under-through, stepping stones, tunnels, balance beams, speed tire hurdles, quad steps, apex ladder, and net. In addition to the obstacles, a selection of healthy foods will also be available at the event.
The Obstacle Challenge is free to attend but a registration is needed through qm.org.qa. The event will run from 7pm to 11pm. It was first introduced last year by the museum as a fun outdoor activity and a way for kids to get fit. Meanwhile, the museum has also announced that the 3-2-1 Obstacle Race 2023 will be on April 24, from 4pm to 9pm and will also take place at Khalifa International Stadium Gates 16 and 17.
“Challenge yourselves to an adventure and see who is the fastest! The obstacle course is a fantastic way to work out and have fun with your family,” 3-2-1 said. Interested individuals who want to join must register through Qatar Museums website. Ticket fee for children under 7 is QR30; 7 years to 18, QR50; and adults above 18 QR50.
