Doha: Weather charts indicate fresh to strong Northwesterly wind for the next two days with a marine warning in place until the middle of this week.
Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said that mild weather will continue during the day with it being relatively cold in some areas by evening.
The wind speed is expected to range between 14KT and 24KT in general with gusts of up to 30KT in some places. This will lead to blowing dust and horizontal visibility will decrease to less than 3km at times especially in open areas.
The marine warning of strong winds and high seas will continue until February 9, 2022, with waves ranging between 4-9ft, exceeding 12ft at times. QMD urged all to take necessary precautions.
