Doha, Qatar: Strong wind and high seas are expected during the weekend, according to a weather forecast by the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).
The Department has put up a warning for the aforementioned weather conditions that remains until tomorrow, September 1. No further warnings were issued for Saturday.
The weather during the weekend will also consist of hot daytime and light dust with some clouds.
Tomorrow, September 1, the wind will blow in the northwesterly to northeasterly direction at 10-20 KT gusting to 26 KT. Sea heights will also range from 2-5ft reaching 8ft offshore.
The beginning of September marks the first month of Autumn, a transitional month between summer and winter.
During this season, weather conditions will gradually be mild with increasing relative humidity.
The amount of clouds will also increase along with a chance of rain, which may be thundery at times, especially by afternoon. The wind, in September, will mainly be in the easterly direction at light to moderate speed.
The daily mean temperature for September is 33.1 degrees Celsius.
According to the Department's monthly climate information, the lowest recorded temperature during this month was in 1964 with 20.3 degrees Celsius, and the highest in 2001 with a 46.2 degrees Celsius temperature.
