Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of Qatar in Manila calls on Qatari citizens in the Luzon province, including the Metro Manila area, to take extreme caution due to weather fluctuations resulting from tropical storm ‘Hanna'.

In a statement on Twitter, the Embassy advises citizens to follow directives issued by local government authorities.

In case of emergency, the Embassy posted these numbers to call: +632 8851 6666.

Philippine newspaper The Manila Times, quoting the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said that the “severe tropical storm Hanna was projected to transform into a typhoon within 36 hours” but reassured that it would not “directly affect the country.”
