Doha, Qatar: The private education affairs sector of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has concluded a programme aimed at professional development and guidance for private education practices, in cooperation with a number of schools in the country.
The programme for this year included holding four sessions, the last of which dealt with Finland’s phenomenon-based education.
The focus in this context was on the applied side, through open workshops, with the participation of elite trainers and experts from Finland, in addition to participants from about 20 private schools and kindergartens.
The programme is set to resume its activities at the beginning of the next academic year by holding several counseling and professional development sessions for private schools and kindergartens, provided by the Spanish International School “SEK” based in the country. The Qatar Finland International School in Qatar co-hosted the programme’s sessions in the current academic year 2023/2023.
