Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced that Shake Off Phyto Fiber drink, produced by EDMARK Company, from Malaysia, is not registered in Qatar, and is not allowed to be sold or traded in the country.
The Ministry indicated that the product advertisements, which are promoted through websites and accounts on social media, include misleading medical claims and are not scientifically confirmed.
The Ministry warned against using pharmaceutical products that are not registered in the country and that have not been examined and analyzed in the laboratories of the Ministry of Public Health to verify their safety and to ensure that they are free of substances harmful to health.
The Ministry of Public Health is communicating with the relevant authorities regarding websites and social media accounts that promote unlicensed pharmaceutical products to take the necessary legal measures.
