Doha: The Shura Council will participate today (Tuesday) in the fourth conference of the League of “Parliamentarians for Al-Quds,” which will be held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, and will last two days, under the title 'Al Quds is Our Red Line'.
The Shura Council will be represented in the conference by Deputy Speaker of Shura Council H E Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, H E Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidan, H E Issa bin Ahmed Al Nasr, and H E Yousef bin Ahmed Al Sada, members of the Council.
The conference aims to enhance parliamentary diplomatic efforts on Jerusalem, as the League aims to activate the role of parliamentarians locally, regionally, and internationally for the unity and safety of Al Quds, and to adopt the Palestinian people’s issues, defend their rights, and expose the practices of the occupation.
