DOHA: In October, the month of the fight against breast cancer, a sea of pink ribbons becomes prominent around us. Unless one or one’s circle has been personally effected by Breast Cancer the opportunity to learn more and make a difference towards this deadly disease doesn’t quite register.
Nehmeh Air Conditioners has announced earlier this month that it has joined in support of the worldwide campaigns to raise awareness for breast cancer screenings and education, as part of its Community Service.
The unique campaign launched for Nehmeh’s extended family of employees and customers invited all to show their support towards Breast Cancer by posting an inspirational message along with their pictures with off course the colour ‘pink’ in it for a chance to win a unique Makita Cordless “Pink” Power Tool.
This unique campaign was primarily initiated to make one aware that the detection and early prevention of this disease can save many lives.
“The Nehmeh Air Conditioners Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign is part our CSR initiatives for the year as done every year. We share Breast Cancer Awareness month as early diagnosis and screening can help save a lot of lives and it is important to raise this awareness in our society.” said Simon A. This campaign comes just as last month Nehmeh Air Conditioners was awarded the Eurovent Certification for Air Handling Units (AHU) placing Nehmeh as the first Qatari company in history to achieve international standards for manufacturing AHUs.
The Eurovent Certification has now put a Qatari Manufacturer for the very first time on par with world leading brands in the manufacturing, sale & service of Air Handling Units worldwide.
