Doha: Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council H E Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti held a videoconference meeting yesterday with Deputy President of the Malaysian Senate H E Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed.
The meeting focused on parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Malaysian Senate, and ways to enhance and promote them.
The meeting also covered several topics of mutual concern, particularly in the areas of parliamentary cooperation, coordinating positions in parliamentary forums, and supporting Islamic and global issues.
