Doha, Qatar: The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received at the Amiri Diwan today HE Abdul Hamid Mohammed Al Dbeiba, Head of the Government of National Unity in the sisterly State of Libya, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, and discussed developments in the region, especially in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Syria, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position towards supporting the unity of Libya and achieving the aspirations of its people towards stability and development, and its full support for the Libyan political track, relevant Security Council resolutions, and all peaceful solutions that preserve Libya's sovereignty.
