According to the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and Qatar Meteorology Department, Saad Balaa, one of the last prominent stars of winter, typically appears as the season transitions, lasting 13 days and bringing swift cooler temperatures before spring as it is also often accompanied by strong wind and a chance of scattered light rain.
Astronomy enthusiasts and locals alike are encouraged to observe the night sky, where Saad Balaa can be spotted, marking a significant celestial event in the Qatari and Arab astronomical calendar.
