Cairo: The work of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League began Monday at the headquarters of the Arab League's General Secretariat to discuss the situation developments in Ukraine.
The delegation of the State of Qatar in the meeting is headed by the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League HE Salem Mubarak Al Shafi.
The meeting comes at the request of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was supported by the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and a number of Arab countries.
It is expected that the meeting will issue a statement reflecting the Arab vision regarding the current situation in Ukraine.
