Kevin Durant might have to come up with even more heroics for the Golden State Warriors in the their conference semifinals matchup with the Houston Rockets.
That's because two of his star Golden State teammates -- Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson -- suffered ankle injuries in Friday's first-round clinching win in Game 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Durant matched the most points scored in the first half of an NBA playoff game (38) and had a playoff career-high 50 overall in the 129-110 win.
Both Curry and Thompson say they'll play in Game 1 on Sunday.
"It's fine. Stuff happens. Just anytime obviously with me and ankles, it's kind of a little different kind of conversation," said Curry, who left in the first half to have his ankle retaped. "But I'm feeling good. Ready for Sunday."
Thompson didn't leave the game, but he was spotted with a limp afterward.
"I'm sore, and I will be for the next few hours, but I anticipate going fully on Sunday," Thompson said, per ESPN.
The Rockets beat the Warriors in three of four meetings this season and are 8-6 against them over the last two years, including playoffs.
Game 1 is at 3:30 p.m. ET in Oakland, Calif.
