Doha, Qatar: In line with its commitment to Corporate Sustainability and Qatar National Vision 2030, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), under the leadership of Managing Director Dr. Mariam Abdul Malik, participated in the global environmental awareness initiative, Earth Hour 2025, on Saturday, March 22, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
With the approval of Assistant Managing Director Musallam Al Nabit, the Facilities and Maintenance Department took part in the initiative by switching off non-essential external lights across PHCC buildings, supporting global efforts to raise environmental awareness.
The operation of PHCC’s 31 Health Centers across the country and its headquarters remained uninterrupted.
PHCC’s efforts are not limited to symbolic gestures; the corporation continuously strives for the optimum facility management and remains committed to the long-term enhancement of operational performance, efficiency of the embedded systems and energy savings. Notably, PHCC was the first organization, with national record in the State of Qatar, to have all the eligible buildings been certified for GSAS compliance, by M/s GORD and continues with the holistic coverage.
