Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) yesterday concluded its Ramadan activities and events organized in private schools and kindergartens during the holy month of Ramadan.
The events were part of the “My Values Define My Identity” project, supervised by the Private Schools and Kindergartens Department.
The project offered numerous purposeful educational activities, including religious lectures and community initiatives such as student participation in the “Ramadan Supplies” and “Ramadan Tent” activities, in addition to launching the “Fitra” initiative targeting private school and kindergarten students. This initiative aims to instil the virtues of modesty and fear of Allah Almighty, to preserve sound nature, and achieve the ultimate goal of fasting: fearing Allah Almighty.
The initiative included a range of engaging interactive activities, including cultural competitions, purposeful electronic games, engaging educational stories, and Ramadan charitable projects.
These activities were implemented with the participation of more than 350 private schools and kindergartens, more than 65,000 students, and 6,000 parents, under the supervision of the Private Schools and Kindergartens Department, and in cooperation with Qatar Charity and the Tomorrow’s Pioneers Education Center.
The “My Values Define My Identity” project is one of the targeted educational projects launched by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to promote moral and patriotic values among students in private schools and kindergartens.
The project aims to instil Islamic and humanitarian principles and strengthen cultural identity through diverse educational and interactive activities that contribute to building students’ personalities based on noble values and positive behaviour.
