Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of Pakistan in Doha organised a community Iftar-dinner on March 23, 2025, to commemorate Pakistan Day. The event brought together members of the Pakistani community in Qatar in an atmosphere of unity, reflection, and national pride.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar, H E Muhammad Aamer, congratulated the community on Pakistan Day and highlighted the historical significance of March 23, 1940 — the day when the Lahore Resolution was passed, laying the foundation for the creation of Pakistan.
The Ambassador paid tribute to the founding fathers of the nation and emphasised the importance of upholding the values of unity, faith, and discipline. He also appreciated the contributions of the Pakistani community in Qatar, praising their hard work, dedication, and role in strengthening the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and Qatar. The event was attended by a large number of Pakistanis working both in the private and public sectors of Qatar, including, professionals, businessmen, teachers, and their families. The programme featured a special prayer for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, followed by Iftar and dinner in a warm and festive atmosphere.
The gathering served as a reminder of the shared identity and collective responsibility of the Pakistani diaspora in promoting national unity and representing Pakistan with pride and dignity abroad.
