If you miss this year’s performance of the Moscow Ballet La Classique, get your hopes up as they are back once again in March 2022 for “The Nutcracker” show.

The performance will be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre on March 24 and 25.

This show comes after sold-out performances of Swan Lake late November. La Classique with its artistic ballet mastery, lavish costumes and magnificent stage sets will take us on a journey back in time to the frost-covered, gas lit world of Clara, her beloved nutcracker doll and the magician Drosselmeyer.

This romantic tale with its blend of magic and realism brings to life the popular Tchaikovsky score featuring the famous Dance of the sugar plum fairy and The waltz of the flowers.

The show will have two acts, with 50 minutes each and an interval of 20 minutes. It has gained positive critics around the world including Jersey Evening Post saying “As sweet as a nut, it doesn’t get much better than this,” and from Waikato Times New Zealand: “The Moscow Ballet La Classique’s The Nutcracker with its stunning sets, costumes and dancers was truly magical to watch.”

The Nutcracker  performance will be held on March 24, 8pm, while on March 25, there will be two shows, one at 3pm and at 8pm.

There are five categories for the tickets, ranging from QR250 to QR700. Bronze ticket is priced at QR250; Silver, QR500; Boxes-Mid Tier and Gold, QR600; and Platinum, QR750. Tickets can be purchased online via virginmestore.me or at Virgin Megastore shops at Doha Festival City, Landmark, Mall of Qatar, and Villaggio.
