The 2nd Chance Rescue-Qatar is hosting a fair to raise funds for animals of the shelter. The proceeds from the event will go in rescuing dogs and cats and providing them with food and shelter.
The centre has planned many fun activities for kids and families, including market stalls selling handmade arts/crafts, Christmas decorations, stocking fillers and lots more. Children could visit Santa's grotto and take a 'Santa Selfie', and enjoy themselves at the bouncy castle and win raffle prizes.
The event will be held from 1pm to 8 pm at Parkview pet center in Madinat Khalifa on December 1. The tickets for the event are available at the entrance and will be priced at QR50 for adults and QR25 for children below the age of 10.
2nd Chance Rescue-Qatar was established in 2009 by Abdulla Al Naemi as a rescue mission and later turned into a full-scale animal shelter, now home to over 200 dogs and cats.
