Ambassador of Argentine H E Marcelo Gilardoni praised the strength and depth of his country’s relations with Qatar, saying that bot nations have a very strong bond, that deeply links from their values and understanding of the future.
He added that more opportunities of cooperation are being developed in the near future, in trade, investment, education and sports fields. Accordingly, the Embassy of Argentina always keeps its doors open to welcome and support any projects that might enhance the friendship between the two countries, he explained.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ambassador said: “We are living an inspiring moment in the history of Qatar, filled with activity and excitement. Therefore, it is an honor for me to celebrate this national day with Qatar and all its people. Today, is a day to revere the unique richness and force of this amazing country, and also a day to join hands and efforts towards an always better future of cooperation and friendship between our two countries.”
“COVID-19 has changed our world for ever, the way we understand ourselves and reality. In the midst of all the chaos and fear it has brought to humankind, some countries have dealt with it better than other,” he said, adding that Qatar is one of the countries that has shown the best administration skills in order to protect its people and assure their overall health. It is clear to see that the economy is steadily growing once again, thanks to the everyday efforts and investments done by the government.
The World Cup 2022 is an amazing opportunity for Qatar to be in the center of the world’s eye, to reap all the benefits that this event will bring, noting the new roads and stadiums that are being built, and the commitment of everyone in Qatar to make this event a success.
