Temperatures to gradually rise in Qatar during March second half: Meteorology Department

Doha, Qatar: Temperatures in the country are projected to begin a gradual rise midway through March as the Sudan seasonal low deepens in the Arabian Peninsula, reported the Meteorology Department in Qatar.

This is expected to coincide with Sudan’s seasonal low meeting cut off lows from Europe that are predicted to cause instability in the Arabian Peninsula.

The winds for this month, according to the Department, will prevailingly blow northwesterly.

The highest ever recorded temperature in Qatar for the month of March was 39°C in 1998, while the lowest was 8.2°C in 1984.

On average, the daily mean temperature for March has been 21.9°C.
