Change in cloud movement, as Al Wasmi season begins tomorrow

Doha: Sunday, October 16, 2022 will be first day of Al Wasmi that will feature movement of cloud and is considered as the beginning of rainy season in the country. 

Qatar weather added that this season that starts tomorrow will last for 52 days until December 6, and will involve movement of clouds from west to east. 

The period is called Al-Wasmi as it coincides with the rainfall that enable growth of various plants, such as truffle (Plant Geranium (Al-Yarwa).

The temperatures drop in Doha during this period, and the weather is warm daytime and mild at night that further tends to get cold at times, especially with the blowing of dry Northwesterly winds.
