Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived this evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to head Qatar's delegation in the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which will be held later today.
HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed on arrival at King Khalid International Airport by HRH Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Chairman of the Council Ministers and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia.
HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed also by Acting Governor of Riyadh HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, GCC Secretary General HE Dr Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf, and a number of senior officials.
HH the Amir was also received by Ambassador of Qatar to Saudi Arabia HE Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Qatar HH Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al Farhan Al-Saud.
